Frankenstein: Volume 1 Chapter 4

In this chapter, the narrator insists on the dark atmosphere like "a dreary night of November". The narrator is Frankenstein and he depicts his monster like a beautiful creature but he's ugly with a yellow skin, lustrous black hair, black lips ...

he says to create was his only dream in to years but now he regrets because his creature is horrible and gives him nightmares.

He started from his sleep, he looks his monster, and he understand he did a big mistake because he's terrified by his creature. At the biginning, Frankenstein loves his monter and at the end he hates him. And provide an odd effect and prove his madness.

The rhythm of the narrative accelerates during the text because he's crazy and afraid, he doesn't know what to do, he's confused.
